Jason G. Tolmaire
Jason G. Tolmaire is a Director at Davis & Hosfield Consulting LLC. He specializes in the preparation of financial damage claims for commercial litigation matters. Mr. Tolmaire assists clients in preparing damage claims involving a variety of industries including consumer products, technology, pharmaceutical, real estate and chemicals. He is also the firm’s Director of Operations.
Prior to Davis & Hosfield Consulting LLC, Mr. Tolmaire performed damage analysis for litigation matters at both Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP. Some of the types of financial analyses involved in preparing damage claims included developing financial models to assess lost profitability, excess costs and company performance through the use of Excel as well as using Access databases to model returns on investment portfolios, calculate damages for investors in a real estate syndication and identify persons with insurance claims to be included within a settlement class. The last six years were spent in a management position, with responsibilities that have included drafting expert report submissions and creating trial exhibits, directing staff in preparing supporting documentation, and providing attorneys with deposition and trial support. Mr. Tolmaire has been involved in a variety of litigation matters, including construction litigation, breach of contract, intellectual property and post-acquisition disputes.
Mr. Tolmaire obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida A&M University, graduating with honors. Mr. Tolmaire is also a Certified Public Accountant.
